About Natalie Allard, L.Ac.
Natalie Allard, L.Ac. has been living with her husband and their two small children in Asheville, NC for almost 10 years. She received her BS in Health and Human Performance from the University of Montana, became a certified Traditional Herbalist from the NC School of Natural Healing, and has practiced Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine through her degree from the Atlantic University of Chinese Medicine ( a four year acupuncture and herbal medical school).
The focus of her practice is on women and their issues throughout every stage of life. From PMS to infertility to pregnancy and labor through menopause. She works closely with the doctors and midwives to make sure the patient is the healthiest that they can be during all of these phases of life. One particular goal of Natalie's is to help decrease the amount of unnecessary cesarean sections that are currently done. By helping turn breech babies, she has allowed many women to have a natural delivery and therefore minimize the unavoidable breech c-section. Also, Natalie has helped many women go into labor naturally with acupuncture, and therefore avoiding their 42 week scheduled induction. It is so important to her that women understand that there are alternatives, and they do have choices.Natalie also focuses on children and their need for healing and prevention from illnesses.
Natalie has the opportunity to work alongside the medical community by having her office inside Biltmore ob/gyn. She is excited to be a part of the Women's Wellness and Education Center, as well, in order to reach more of the community and be a part of a "collective" healing experience for the patient. Natalie will hold an office space at both places in hopes of reaching a more diverse clientele and to help "bridge the gap" between alternative and traditional healing. Natalie does frequent talks for childbirth education classes and is excited about broadening the topics of her lectures at WWEC.
Through her studying and practical work on patients, herself, and her family, Mrs. Allard has sharpened her skills, broadened her knowledge, and mastered the passion that lies deeply rooted in the practice of acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. She believes that her patient's needs are what fuels her practice, and she is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of her business is from repeat patients and referrals.
"I welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best care on your journey to ultimate wellness."
